A downloadable game

Your cursor is the gun. Clean Kill is a top-down zombie shooter with the gunplay of a modern FPS. Land the headshot and it pops — hit-stop, screen shake, and a real gunshot. You feel every kill.

The difficulty comes from the horde, the enemy types, and a boss you have to learn — not from arbitrary power-ups. You die, you learn, you go further. Heavy metal soundtrack, realistic gun sounds, one handcrafted level to master.

Clean Kill is in development. A free demo comes first — then the full game, shaped by your feedback.

What the first demo includes

  • Your cursor is the gun — WASD to move, mouse to aim, Space to dash.
  • Headshots that pop — hit-stop, screen shake, and a real 9mm gunshot on
    every kill.
  • Two enemy types, one hard choice — fast shamblers that swarm, and
armoured tanks that only fall to headshots.
  • A boss you learn — telegraphed attacks and punish windows. Die, learn, go
    further.
  • One handcrafted level — corridors, set-pieces, and a boss arena. No
    procedural filler.
  • Heavy metal + real gunfire — the music sits back so every shot punches
    through.
  • You get better, not the game — no power-ups, no stat grinding, no random
    drops.

What Clean Kill is NOT

  • Not a boomer/retro shooter — no 90s nostalgia, no "DOOM-like" pitch.
  • Not a roguelike — no procedural maps, no random drops, no meta-progression.
  • Not an arena survival wave-crawler — one handcrafted level with a real boss
you learn, not an endless wave counter.

An early annotated spike — real 9mm gun shots, a heavy metal soundtrack, and headshots that pop. Full video in the devlog.
